wmac looking for a pin.. first pin !!! sacramento, ca

just wanted to ask expert..

i wanted a pin that are reasonable price.. up to 1,000 dollars pin .. i wanted a pin that has a colorful playfield.. something like south park style.. cartoonish style..

wondered and asking to see if anybody knows just perfect for me (doesnt have to have a available righ tnow) but wanted to know what pin i should get as my first pin to a keeper.

I want a bad ass nice but at reasonable price.. non rarity but common..

any idea?? LMK thanks

i need the name of game pin then i ll search.. im too tempt and buy any pin but i would end up saying oh fuck why i buy this while i could wait and get what i want.. know how that feel gooes!!! =)

Dont get southpark. THE WORST. The simpsons by data east is around that price range I think. I am way to sauced to think of any more...

simpsons is actually a good recomendation!

i like diner but i doubt one comes available for 1g

hard to really say, you need to play them first, either on route if possible or on wii ,xbox etc...

Just go to youtube and type in pinball machines and start looking at different videos of pinball machines

If you need the comic aspect, I'd say Simpsons, Rocky & Bulwinkle, or maybe even Super Mario Brothers (Pin). Everyone seems to hate Popeye, but I did not mind it, and they can be had at a reasonable price for a newer DMD machine.

There should be a number of options in your price range, especially if you don't mind fixing some stuff up. Something I learned recently is that even if a pin is out of range, make the offer you'd like to pay. The worst they can say is not, and you may be suprised :)

Good luck with your search!

Chris

I'm partial to System 11 games myself. They offer a lot of bang for the buck, and are solidly built. Perhaps something like Dr. Dude. It's not the best game out there, but it's fun. It definitely fits your criteria of a colorful, cartoonish playfield, and you should be able to snag one in decent shape for less than a grand.

Honestly, if your price range is currently $1000 then save your money where you can spend $1500. $1000 "usually/typically" doesn't buy much in the world of pins. $1500 put's you in a bracket that a ton of "good" games fall into. Cartoony - Judge Dredd would be an awesome candidate for you.
I personally add an additional $300 cost to any pin purchase as I expect things will need to be fixed. This way the wifey doesn't complain as I haven;t gone over my budget lol.

Seriously, shoot for $1500 as it's just like buying a house. If you have $250K to spend you look at houses ~ the $265 range as a deal is usually to be struck ;) Good luck on your search - that truly is half the fun!

I dont tend to get southpark. I never liked southpark myself. =) eventhough show s funny

Another great System 11 game (in my opinion) is Mousin' Around.

Great lighting
Great sounds
Fast Gameplay
Fits the family / cartoon-ish theme.

Just sayin'. I often widh I had not sold mine.

If you are somewhat computer savvy, you could install Visual Pinball on your computer. This would allow you to download and sample virtually any table ever made.

im asking an recommendation.. so far i arleady liked 5 of em and someone claimed that i should get system 11. what is system 11. is it like a pc10 that i could find 20 games on it and compared the games to find one? or system 11 is a game?
