I bought this a few month ago and probably over paid. The game is in amazing shape. CPO and bezel are about perfect...as it the whole game really

The guy I bought it from snapped the neck on the monitor. I pulled one from another of my game to test it.

Can I get an Idea of what it's worth without a monitor?

The game looks nice, if it works 100% without monitor I'd say around $600, more with a working monitor.

Grrrr . W-O-R .... Grrrr.
Worth more as WOR and not as WAR. LOL

Damn that thing is nice !

I'd say find a monitor from another local and install that to sell the game as complete and working (provided it works when you test it yourself first). That is, if you are looking to maximize your return.

I have a WOW.... but it doesn't look like that one ! :) (I have areas of the outer wood of the plywood on the front panel below the control panel lifting up, etc.... from moisture. And it isn't as nice as this, even fully cleaned up. Funny though, mine also has a broken monitor.... although that was my own fault. While loading it onto a pickup when I purchased a lot of games (all improperly stored), I forgot about the bubble in the back, and wack.... hiss.... I knew immediately what happened. Damn. Only monitor I've necked to date. :-(

As for value, considering the condition.... w/o monitor, I'd guess $500+ (because putting in a working monitor and getting a game in that condition up and running is a relatively easy job).

I'm pretty sure that's what happened to this monitor. I'll have to scrape one up for it. It plays fine with the one I borrowed.

The game is super clean and really nice. Just not liking it as much as I thought I would

This game has a "cult following". Might want to play it some more ... :)

EXIDY GUIDE: Wizard of Wor - dedicated upright game. $500-$800. Collector price/ebay price.

Nice WoW. Mine was similarly damaged. The neck board was actually broken when I got it but someone jumpered the broken circuits and it still works. I bought another neckboard but haven't put it in yet. Love this game. You get into it the more you play it. I was going to sell it but now it's one of my favorites.
