Wizard of Wor - started out with no voice, now game is stuck at a screen.. any ideas?

Picked up a wizard of wor cabaret yesterday. It was playing fine but just no voice. I looked into that issue - pulled out the game logic board and reseated the SC01 and the 2 40pin ICs. Tried it again and got the same result, but at this point, one of the sounds other than the voice was not working correctly - the lowest "organ-style" sound wasn't playing, but instead i was getting a sound you usually hear when an enemy dies. Then I pulled the audio amp, tested the pot for the wizards voice and changed the (2) 1000uF 25v caps, then I noticed 2 blown resistors at R1 & R4. replaced those (330ohm). I also pulled the CPU board and reseated the pokeys the z80. I also reseated all boards into the cage. I then powered her up. I was able to play a game (still no voice) but upon conclusion of that game, I ran into the following screen and I haven't been able to cycle it out of this screen since.

I've since checked the voltages on the PS. They were +5.25vdc, +12.43vdc and -5.10vdc. I adjusted them down to +5.01, +12.05 and -5.10 would not go any lower.

At current, I'm considereing replacing the sockets for the z80, the pokeys, the SC01 and the two 40pin ICs on the game logic board...essentially, anything I reseated.

based on the video, is there anything i should look at first?

thanks

If you have pokeys on that board.....well there's your problem :) Those are customs your looking at. They do run hot and they do go bad often. Symptoms range from minor glitches, random resets to a totally dead board.
You didnt by chance swap those two 40 pin customs did you? Should be two on the IO board and two on the CPU board. Im pretty sure the two on the IO board are the same chip...117XX?

Sorry...they look like pokeys.. No I didnt change them.. So the chances are good that those customs are the culprit? Should I try new sockets or is it more likely the chip(s)?

taking a closer look at these sockets, they're crap. going to resocket the 2 on the main cpu board and see what happens...just reseated them and now i get a blank screen..

EDIT: ok..replaced the sockets on the CPU board and I'm back to my error described in the video above. I still have the two custom IC\s on the game logic board that I can resocket, but it's starting to look like a bad custom chip... and I havent a clue as to which one :(

You probably have done this, but clean/reseat all boards in the cage and clean/reseat the connectors on the game board and power supply connector on the cage.
