I purchased this cabinet from Billybob almost a year ago and figured it was time to get going on it - so I have started the restoration and thought I would share some pics...

First I took out the existing game (sky kid - board, marquee, control panel etc - someone had painted the cabinet red)
Had the monitor capped...
Then painted around the monitor area (black)
Repainted the speaker covers, and bolts
Sanded down the cabinet
Did the bondo work (quite a bit actually - lots of little nicks)
Primed it (grey)
painted it (color matched)
and have started to put it back together...

Lots to do yet - but so far its going ok...

The first picture shows the game (as I got it) in the background...

Excellent job!!! :beerchug:

As someone who holds Wizard of Wor dear to their heart... I love seeing one brought back to life. As cleverlyj said, it's an AWESOME game to play!

Yes I have the side art - just have not applied it.
Also will look a ton better once i get t-molding on it.
Got all the parts from a guy in California quite a while back - the only thing he didnt send was the transformer in the bottom of the cabinet - so now I have to figure that out with the wiring harness (he just cut the wires at the transformer)
Hoping this is the say layout as a Gorf (more or less)
