This is for sale for really cheap near me...that is rare!!! Anyways, it looks like a modified WoW cabinet to me. I'm thinking a guy could remove that big ugly CP and replace it with the sleeker Midway one that was likely originally there, and then eventually collect all the parts to turn it back into the Wizard. Wizard of Wor is my grail, but I doubt I will EVER find one around here...worst case scenario, it would make a nice 60-in-1

Opinions?

That is indeed a WOW cab.
Likely the sides are cut to make room for the monstrosity of a CP.

BTW, I have a decent restorable WOW CP.....

Hmmm....it's tempting to start this project! I was thinking the big ugly CP was just bolted over the cabinet and hopefully nothing was cut. I will have to run out and look at this on the weekend. If I get it, I will definately be buying up any and all Wow parts I can find for it!

I too have a WOW cab converted to a baseball game:

Funny that is, but I do enjoy the game play on this one; "You're Out! ..lol

i'm curious as to how bad the cabinet is cut to accomodate that control panel. hopefully it's still ok. i imagine that most of the parts are missing aside from the 4600 monitor, but you can probably scrounge those up ok. i hate to say it, though, but cost wise you may be more succesful getting a complete WoW than rebuilding that one.

Yeah, I decided to let my buddy buy that and hold out for a complete one, rather than play a game of scavenger hunt that could last several years!

In the end, I'll probably have to buy it out of the states and pay more for shipping and duty than the machine cost, as they never seem to show up around here :(

I changed my mind! I'm going to look at this in a few days, and if the cab hasn't been cut to accomodate that CP, I'm going to buy it and return it to a Wizard of Wor. I think I have all the missing parts lined up except the wiring harness.
