And in case it gets deleted:

Hello. I live at the state line of Michigan and Indiana but its Northeast Indiana in a towne called Fremont. My brother moved to Texas and dropped this pinball gaime off in my garage as he was leaving town. Isn't it how it always goes? He expects me to deal with his problems. He asked me to sell it for him and I can split the profits with him. He bout it years ago off of a friend who knew who worked in an arcade. He paid $300 for it in 1992. I remember playing it at his house over holidays. It has a creepie talking head and cracks jokes.

I don't know much about this machine but he said it works fine but is a little dirty. I have checked ebay and find this machine going for much moore but I need this moved out of my house very fast. My wife can't park her mini-van in the garage. Bring cash and take it home because it wood make an great X-mas present. I will take pictures with my digital camear and post it laiter to night.

Thanks for looking.

Does anybody else hear the sound of a leg stretching....?

That just sounds like somebody is having some fun. "pinball gaime", "it wood make", "digital camear", "post it laiter". While I would love to think of somebody getting a Funhouse for $300, it just sounds like somebody was bored this afternoon. :bebored::jester2:

if you click on the link it says "Funhouse" and "$800" in the title.

i think it's probably legit but rather stupid to put "paid $300 for it" in the body of the ad. then again, nobody's accused CLer's of any significant intelligence.

It is for a Funhouse actually. I didn't realize I left the title of the ad off. Lots of scammers on Detroit craigslist, but I think this is a real one, as they have now raised the price to $1200. :(

i dont understand, if he got offers for $1200 and now is asking $1200....shouldnt it be sold by now.....

I hate mentally challenged people...id like to kick this ahole right in the teeth

Yeah no shit, now it's a fuckin auction and for that kinda money I'm not driving 3.5 hours one way for a pin that "might" work and "might" be in decent shape. For about $1700 you can buy a nice one that you can play and see working locally.

Well the dude e-mailed me and said the new owner picked it up an hour ago. I asked how much he got for it and this is what he said...

"just wanted it gone. The whole thing left a very sour taste in my mouth for certain people. I'll just say I didn't get $800 for it."

"Money vs. Wife vs. dealing with a bunch of no good pinball dealers? Needless to say now I have a happy wife."

Funny....

Wow, thats funny. So he just sold it to the highest bidder, but sounds like he didnt get what he wanted. Atleast his wife is happy.

The dudes description of the actual pinball machine is a little weird. Scam from the beginning IMO. Too much non information was passed about a huge machine in someone's house. Not to mention the price fluctuated up and down.
