I wiring up a cabinet from scratch with a 60-1 icade. I am not to familiar with jamma wiring and I have some questions:

1. Can I run the power wires straight into the power supply? I notice some games have some kind of transformer in between.

2. Do I need to wire in a safety switch? The one that gets pushed in by the cabinet door

3. I will not be using the monitor wires, I have a vga arcade monitor. What do I do with them? anythig?

any help would be appreciated
thanks

1. Yes, you have no need to install a transformer because it protects the monitor and it sounds like your monitor is a self contained unit.

2. The safety switch is for your protection. If you think it is unnecessary then you can skip it. Frankly, your system sounds pretty clean with few areas of exposure so the safety switch may be overkill.

3. You can just ignore all of the wires to the monitor. The 60 in 1 board VGA output will be the only thing you connect to your monitor (besides power, of course).
