so i'm wiring up an old mcr switcher kit for my satan's hollow that i got from an awesome klover - vespertillio, and have some questions.....

1. the places on this switcher that are marked as the non earth grounds on my other switcher are marked as com. i assume they are ground as well, is that correct?

2. i have 2 grounds in the harness from the adapter to the switcher to hook up. does it matter whether one goes on each of those com ports, or both on one?

3. finally, what's the best place to tap into a/c on this game? i've read posts on here in a little bit of a search with some saying on the input side of the iso, some on the marquee light, etc. and does it matter whether hot and neutral are crossed, or do they have to be exact? i ask because my wizard of wor switcher is hooked up to the service outlet power (running off a switched outlet for the game so it's not all the time) and want to get this one and redo that right...

ground is ground, COM is ground, wont matter how you do it, although I would avoid wiring common ground to field ground.

In most cases, it shouldnt hurt anything if you swap hot and neutral. But if you want it done right, just chase the 2 and find out which one ends up going to a fuse. That will be your hot.

You should be safe tapping it into any 120 source in the cab. The switcher in my Ms. Pac-Man is tapped in right near the AC Filter.

when you say avoid wiring common ground to field ground, what do you mean exactly? avoid jumpering from one to the other?

Field ground is AC. Will usually be a green wire, sometimes with a yellow stripe. Every other ground should be common. Just wire the field ground to the ground next to the AC hot and netural, and all others to the ground closer to the top of the switcher.
