Wiring the Power for Wells Gardner 25k7401 - K7400 Series Monitor

Hey guys. So I know I don't need an isolation transformer for this monitor, but I want to ensure I wire up the power correctly. Anyone have info on how to best do this? Trying to avoid making any mistakes here.

I'll be running a SF2 PCB, Jamma, in a Midway cab and switching power supply.

I have the Molex plug that I need to pin and wire up as well.

Thanks!

Hey guys. Any input on this? Should he simple for anyone's who's already wired up a monitor. Should I wire it directly to the PS? Hoping for some guidance here

Thanks

You want this for power:
Part Number 50-84-1030
Connector, Plug, 3 Pin, 0.84"

You'll also need 3 pins (male) for the housing (top of page) and crimpers if you don't have them.

If you need a video input connector you'll also want this housing & pins.
And this for video input:
Part Number 09-50-8101
Connector, 0.156" Plug, 10 Pin

Thank you. I already have the Molex and pins for video and power. I was moreso looking for an overview of the connections.
For example, I see lots of photos of the power connection not using a ground wire. Wouldn't it make more sense to use one? And where is the best place to ground it?
Any other considerations I should be aware of? For polarity I want the hot wire going to the L correct?

Thanks

You can ground it there, or ground it to the frame, your call. If you are splitting the power from the wall to run to the monitor, then You can ground from the frame, if you are going to plug it in directly, maybe go with grounding from the wall. it's your call really.

Black (Load) to L, ground to the center pin and White (Neutral) to
the N pin.

So I've got my power harness made. A couple more questions. I want to wire up the cabinet power switch. So I just need to interrupt the hot wire with the switch, right? Then take both of the power cable wires to the AC inputs on my switching PS. Right? Should I be using any inline fuses?
