i picked this up for a song and wanted to add to my gameroom, BUT dont know what wires go where or how? I tried a few combos and got a blinking green light on pc board at one point? also sounded like monitor was trying to come on it just make a slight clicking sound? also some had red light on power unit, i assume the grey upright box is that. and one time the bill accept. ran and the buttons blinked once???? It may be totally shot but thought i would ask here, I only know about EM games/restore, but know nothing about the video end of the hobby/repairing etc., i know its not alot to go on but if anyone can tell what goes where??? I can add more pics of buttons etc. or whatever you might need to help.... I thank you for any help

Hey buddy,

Congratulations on the new machine! It looks like the inside of my Moon Crest cab. What you have there is a classic example of wiring butchery. I would just re-do the power situation. You have all the pieces and it's pretty straight forward. Take a look here.

If you scroll to the bottom there is a beautiful diagram that outlines a basic power system for a game.

The junction box (silver box with the little white button coming out) can be eliminated entirely unless you're looking to restore everything to it's original condition. I'm guessing theres some type of multi game board in there but I could be wrong.

Good luck and let me know if you have any specific questions.

thanks i will check out the link, also do you know is the monitor power feed comes out of the older transformer and which wire? or out of the grey power supply?

Monitor power definitely comes out of the transformer. If you fire it up (and it has power) a quick check with a meter will tell you which is 120.

I was looking at pic #2 and it looks like you have three molex connectors coming off the transformer. If two of them are attached to the same connections my GUESS would be that those are 120v output. (one for the monitor and one for the marquee light) the other is your 120v input that would be coming from that silver junction box. This is a GUESS and you should definitely check everything with a meter before hooking it up.

Good luck!
