I have a cocktail style asteroids that when I was a kid I tried to change the wires to get the coin slot working. After that attempt, it stopped working, which at the time I thought I had just blown the fuse. 10+ years later I am trying to get it working again. I just checked all the fuses today and they are good. I was monkeying with the wires and it does power up, all I get is occasional lines on the screen and a beep here and there, and the counter also keeps advancing every few seconds. The only wires I messed with were the ones connected to the two way switch next to the volume control. If someone can direct me on the order of how those are connected to the switch I'm hoping it will work again. I have attached a picture of the wires. 2 of the 4 wires coming from the coin op area, have power. There is a black wire and a white wire that come from the central fuse area, one of those has power as well. Finally the last wire has a circular connector on it which I believe gets grounded to the switch bracket.

I appreciate any help that can be given in figuring this out. I am also curious how to get the coin op functioning if I decide to do that later.

Thanks again

Thanks for the pictures. I took a look at it again and part of the coin op mechanism is missing. It has been that way since we've had it. I can't remember if the wires that were suppose to be hooked into the coin op were hooked into the switch by the volume control.
