Ok, this might sound like a stupid one, but I've never taken it upon myself to get all of these wired up. In a few of my games these wires are snipped, and hacked to hell.

What wires do I connect to the coin door bulb wires? Are there wires on the jamma harness for these, or do I have to jump them from somewhere else?

Thanks for helping me get my games 100% guys.

Ok, Finally a question I can answer. LOL
Your coin lights will run from the jamma connection or switching power supply to the bulb.
So the wires will be 12v and ground.

Excellent. All the coin door lights in my machines are now running.

If you are running 44s or 47s, 12V will burn them out in no time. 5V is all you need in half the cases, especially in many jamma games. My Moon Patrol runs off of 5V, my Satan's Hollow runs off of 12V. You really have to watch what bulbs you are using to determine your voltage.

if you're using a game that doesn't use -5, i usually do that. but like phet said, make sure the bulbs are right. if they burn bright as hell, they're not the right voltage rating and will burn out quick.

Also these 1815's I have for my Taito cab are 14v. But on the package it says average life, 30 hours. WTF? So I leave it on for a day and it will burn out? The #47 is 3000 hours.

There are also a few other threads on here regarding the coin door bulbs and hookup. If you don't get your answer in this thread, you can use the search tool to look at the archives which are pretty in depth. ;)

Crap, youre right. The #47s are 6.3 v. Do I hook it up to the +5 or -5??

You can use either 5v or -5v to wire the lights.
I use what ever has the smallest load on them so the switcher is not overloaded.
My Jrok doesn't use -5v so that is what I used along with led bulbs.
I used these for coin door and button lights. http://www.centsibleamusements.com/pinball-led-44-47.aspx
Run wires directly from the switching power supply to the bulb sockets.
You can daisy chain them from socket to socket once the wires are run to the door.
