So, if my power cord runs directly into a line filter, can I then run the hot wire thru a 3 amp fuse, then up to the on/off switch, then to the switcher? Also, can I use the switcher's AC terminals like a dist block, or should I use a block instead? Also, you only have to run the hot wire thru the toggle switch, yes? Neutral does not need to be switched?

That would work. See Bob's wiring diagram here.

It can be used as a dist block.

Correct

Yes

I would use a block.

In AC they are both hot. But yes only run one through the toggle.

2 different opinions on the dist block thing. does it matter? It would be easier thru the switcher's AC terminals, as it would only be 3 sets of crimp connectors. Power in, power to the marquee and power to the iso. Or just 2 sets if I run the marquee off of the iso 'in' tabs.

It doesn't matter. It's more personal preference.

OK, cool. I've got a gutted Double Dragon cab and wiring it is a little trickier than I thought it would be. I also have to take into consideration the pull out drawer and give all wires ample slack.

Doesn't matter. Same power would be from the block or the switcher. Maybe the block would be the "cleaner" or "anal" way. So in your case I would go with the block. :D

As others have said there are multiple ways you can do the same functional thing. Are you trying to get as close as possible to how a dedicated Double Dragon is wired? There are a few other things that go in that slide out drawer like this thing that looks like it'a filter board. There's also a distribution block as well as a line filter and the power supply.

I was gonna do that, but I think I will use a Jamma extender harness rather than the terminal block thing.
