I am wiring my first cab from scratch. I have a fuse on the ac line in but I do not have an ac distribution box. Do I need one or can I just wire nut the wires together for the iso trans, power supply, and light?

Thanks for the replies

A clean look...

Not sure what final "look" you are going for, but I built my first power supply board for AC and DC a while back and followed the Bob Roberts plan...turned out great using a dist block and has a very clean look.

I believe wire nutting everything together would work fine, however...

I second the use of an a/c distribution block with quick disconnects. I have done a few cabinets this way and it makes for clean and neat wiring. Not a fan of wire nuts. Ends up leading to the wired rats nest look, IMO. Cable clamps and cable ties also help keep wiring nice and tidy.
