Winston-Salem Results 2-6-2010 - NEEDED

I decided not to go..mainly because the weather looked to be bad. Now..after checking weather.com..I see that was a mistake..though its still pretty damn cold today.

So anyone that went..post up!

What a mis-leading title. Why do you get to start the topic if you didn't even go?

Because no one else did..so I wanted to know how it went. Obviously not many others went given the lack of replys.

weather scared me off, too--I was wondering if it ended up having killer deals because everyone stayed home, or if there was nothing because EVERYONE stayed home.

i went(was my first one ) they said a tractor trailer load did not make it cuz weather.
so not a whole lot there, some things went cheap but there was a older guy and a lady that bought shit loads of what was there. i happen to be paying at the same time they were and they bitched about taxes . but they bought at least 20 grand worth of shit.
i went way overboard and had to rent a 29 foot truck.lol im new to all this and have been paying way to much for stuff . so went crazy when games were 100-250 bucks.my wife had a blast there and got her a nice afterburner fro 150 bucks ,Ron

how much had you been paying for games BEFORE, and from who?

If you care to divulge. I read in an earlier post that someone you bought games from tried to convince you not to go.

K

about 400 to 900 bucks per game is what i was paying .and to tell you the truth 2 other guys i bought games from said it was a waste of time for me to go lol

I wouldn't want you to go either if I was selling you games for $900. :D

80sguy, I was just teasing a little. :)

That stinks that the other truck load didn't make it in, but I totally understand after what I shoveled out of my driveway yesterday!

Hey Rony..post up the list of games you got and their prices. Traditionally the collectors sort of use the auction results to guage how the market is doing. How many people were there to buy? About how much of the stuff was classics? Pins? Any unusual/rare games spotted?

I guess now that you've been to an auction your eyes have been opened. LOL ;)
