Winston-Salem 11-19-2016 auction results

Got a DK for 600. Been on the lookout for one. There were lots of fighters in Dynamo HS-5's going for 500-900. Not a ton of classics and less multicades than I am used to seeing. Red tent went for 600 or 650 with SMB and Castlevania in it.

Agree, lots of inventory and the prices on the standups were ok, some sub 400 which is nice to see. Lots of drivers, (prices below normal), and pins, (didn't stay for them no idea on the prices). Have a single pic of the driver wall. Ended up with a F&F.

Love how the Fast and Furious machine that doesn't boot has a working marquee light but the one that does boot doesn't. You can never win!!!!! :p

Did you haul it in a pickup? I passed someone on the interstate that had just one F&F in the bed of there truck.

Ha, I did haul is back to Raleigh in a pickup. Saw someone with a juke box along the way as well. I have a lift gate so transporting is a breeze, rain notwithstanding. Units in good shape, having some issues with the computer going into calibration (directly) on boot. But it was playing fine at and post auction. I have a feeling these F&F are a tad finicky.

I was the guy with the jukebox.

Damn funny, we were very excited to see that cruising down the highway. I actually missed the one F&F I was really looking for and it went for $500. This one was almost an accident.

I'm new to the forum so I haven't read through everything yet. Where do guys look to find arcade auctions like this? The only luck I had was randomly stumbling across a warehouse once semi-loaded with arcades and pool tables.

Well, for NC, I think one is 'It'

if you are up for traveling, they rotate the auction to TN. And, there are several large auctions up north. This forum has general auction chatter so I'd check older thread to ID them, or just google coin-op auctions.

Thanks,

Didj
