Winner's Don't Use Drugs Screen

Its on my Super Mario Bros. Pinball and if I am not mistaken, I believe its on my SlugFest as well.

I remember them on pretty much every late 80's/early 90's Konami game. Like it stopped anyone.I'm sure there were plenty of people on drugs/selling drugs hanging out in arcades.

Please, someone sell me a working Narc near St. Louis. I loved seeing that intro screen and then *policing* all them drug dealers during the game. Gotta love that game title also.

Huh, nudging is an essential part of pinball....

OK some and to a point, but not when its so bad the cabinet gets damaged from the legs digging into the wood and leg bolt holes get stripped. Hence tilt switches...

That's not why they have Tilt switches. They have tilt switches so you can't cheat and win more money on them. They were all originally gambling devices.

I disagree and so does info I've seen, but at any rate, they can be used and are used to stop excessive nudging of the machine...

"Skillful players can influence the movement of the ball by nudging or bumping the pinball machine, a technique known as "nudging." There are tilt mechanisms which guard against excessive manipulation of this sort. "

Gotta love the responses:

Well, when I played the games that had these warnings, I was a clean, studious kid, so there was no need to stop taking drugs. By the time I hit 17 a few years later I was a stoner like all my buddies, so I guess there's no accounting for the preventative effects of Session's FBI message!

LOL

I can't believe no one has edited these screens yet. I know it's not a simple hex edit like Pac-Man ghost names, but still. It seems too great a prize to have gone unclaimed for so long.

I swore I had a roadblasters with that on it.
Remember only users lose drugs.

Interesting thing, I'm 100% certain it showed up on my Neo Geo 6 slot, but not any other Neo Geo boards I've owned. I have a two slot right now, and have had a few single slots in the past.

The Scott Pilgrim game on PS3 and Xbox 360 made fun of it:
