I just received an email about a Tri-Zone pinball for $150. "Condition is Great" originally when I asked about the pin but it didn't sell.

I asked about the quality of the playfield and this is the return email "The quality is okay... I just moved it outside to the garage and now can only get one ball too play. Had a game guy over said its a minimal fix... Just need to get machine out of the house will take $150 for the machine if ur interested call me."

Should I jump on this? Would this be something easy for a pinball beginner to fix ? It would be my first pinball. Any answers / help would be greatly appreciated, before I give the guy a call and agree to pick up the pin.

it may just be the switch where the ball drains.but for 150.00 and its in fair shape. its worth that just as a parts machine ,if you couldnt fix it .GOOD LUCK !

The early Williams like Trizone aren't too bad to work on. I think it would be a good game to start with. Just about everything that you learn fixing it will apply to other machines. Williams used that same board layout for many years.

For $150 I'd grab it, the displays alone (if they are working) are worth that.

Awesome, I'll give the guy a call, if anything I'll break even if I can't get it repaired and that's ok in the long run. It'll be a good experience and hopefully some knowledge gained on pins in the end.

The only bad part is I just checked the bank account and thou $150 isn't much.. I just don't know if I can swing it... I gotta bank on the car selling tomorrow in order for me to have any extra cash for it.

Thanks for the luck, I'm going to really need it to find the extra funds quickly!

I'd definitely pick up a Tri Zone for $150. It is a simple but fun game. I have one on location and it gets as much play as Iron Man.

System 3-7 games like Tri Zone can need a lot of little tweaks to get them reliable, but once you've done all the mods and fixes, they run really good.

So far things aren't looking like I'm going to be able to pick this up due to lack of funds..

If there is anyone in the Chicago area that wants the number, PM me and i'll forward the info to you. Rather someone have a good deal in the end.
