I have a Williams Travel Time I picked up not too long ago and it is fully working and is a really fun game. But the wall art is killing me. In one way it's cool because it showcases its age, but in another I think it looks horrible. The paint on one side is almost completely gone, and the paint almost everywhere on the machine flakes away at the lightest rub of a finger.

I was wondering what you guys would do if you had this machine. Paint it? Keep it the way it is? Stickers? I'm not really sure what to do with it.IMG_2213.jpegIMG_2004.jpegIMG_2007.jpeg

Planked wood sucks but doing anything about that is a HUGE endeavour.
I would check on pinside to see if anyone has come up with a good mitigation technique.

As Bobby said the planked wood will have to be dealt with before painting. And that planking is very deep and raised. If its a job your up to doing then I say go for it. There is plenty that can be done to prep the cab for stencils/paint. Its going to involve a lot of work though and its going to be tedious at times. Lots of sanding and wood filler skim coats. Me personally I'd probably bring it outside or in the garage and with a hard bristled nylon brush I would sweep all the loose paint chips off. Vacuum and bring back inside so there is no more flaking.
