Williams System 6 Blackout blowing fuse

I did remove this rectifier and check it as best as I know how. I used the Gorgar manual, which shows it to be a series of diodes. So I checked it with my DMM on diodes test and each combination of prongs read the same, going in the correct direction, if that makes sense. If I tested it wrong, let me know and I'll recheck.

Wait, so you tested all combinations across the rectifier and got the same reading on each one?
You have a faulty rectifier then, as you should get readings one way and NOT the other across. Guess what...this will blow fuses.

Testing is between opposite ~ and + legs, open one way and not the other(Swap probes). Repeat for opposite ~ and - legs for the same thing.

If either of those readings are open both ways, it's faulty.

No, I tested it like you said, between opposites, like you would a normal diode. Sorry I didn't explain my testing very well.
