Hi,

I have a Williams Stellar Wars pinball that has acid damage and I am in need of the system 3 and driver board. I was hoping you would have a set for sale? Eldorado has a set but they are asking 260, which puts me over what the machine is actually worth.

Thanks for all of your help,

Mike

For a system-6 boardset..... that's about the going rate for a working pair. Could also look into a rottendog combo-board at the same price.

How badly are they corroded? Repairable still? I'm the mood for a challenge if they aren't too bad.

Agreed. I probably wouldn't sell a repaired set cheaper.

That said, someone might come out of the woodwork with a working set at a good price. Doesn't hurt to ask.

If you were lucky like the clowns in my area you could just bring it to my place and take advantage of my kindness :p

I guess it depends on what you paid for the game initially to determine if you'd have too much into it when you got new boards. Nice Stellar Wars can go for 700 and up. For some reason this game does not get a lot of love.

Mostly because it was sandwiched in between the two juggernauts of the era Flash and Firepower.

Stellar Wars actually plays fast for a widebody (thanks to Steve Ritchie) and is a fun game.

If I had the room, I wouldn't mind a Stellar Wars. Part of it is that I really like the Battlestar Galactica ripoff artwork. Plus, I like pop bumpers.

Either way, the only way a Stellar Wars is only worth $250 would be with the boards missing and a beat up playfield and backglass. A player machine is an easy $500. And if YOU like the machine, who cares about the "value"..... it's all subjective anyway.
