I have a Sinistar cockpit that I send the boards out for repair and I misplaced the PCB mounting screws. I also have a few other Williams games like Joust and Moon Patrol. I would like to find out what size screws are used and I hope most of the Williams games of that era use the same ones. I would like to have some spares.

If there is something on amazon, even better.

i bought mine at the local hardware store. i dont know the size offhand but if you have the plate it should only take a minute to find the right one.

yes hardware store you can get them with the star washer on them and they are phillips screws and either 6/32 or 8/32 pan head machine screws for sure.

if you want the super real deal, Marcos Specialties should have them, because they're the same bolts used on the Williams pinball machines.

I had gotten a set from Bob Roberts years ago. I wanna say I changed them all out on my Defender, so I should have extras on hand. which might be beneficial, cause the ones at work are like missing half of them. :p

IIRC, They're 10-32s.... I got them at Lowes.

Necro-bumping this thread. I picked up some 10-32s and they were too big, the plates I have are 8-32. Looks like 3/8" length for the heat sink and 1/2" length for everything else.

That being said, I appreciate the help from @HudsonArcade on this one because it was right in the ball park and I was able to easily find the right screws in the bins. I am updating this because the search on the forum gave me this as a top hit when searching for "Williams screws"

From a related thread:

I got these from my local Ace Hardware and found them to be a very close match, but you have to buy the toothed lock washers separately (i.e., they're not integrated like the originals). That other thread also has links to specialty suppliers that sell screws with integrated lock washers.

Maybe I did get 1/2" and not 5/8. I ended up getting separate washers as well. The washers cost more than the screws!

if you wanted the real thing, they're the same thing as Williams pinball MPU/driver board bolts. they'll probably cost more through Marco Specialties or ebay than Ace Hardware though. YMMV
