Williams Pinball Collection for PS3 and Xbox360 is coming out tomorrow

This is looking pretty promising. If you have a PS3 or Xbox360 it may be worth the pick up. 8.5 out of 10 on IGN. I didn't think it would get such a glowing review

I think I'm gonna pick it up for the xbox360.

Just thought I'd share. Anyone plan on picking this up?

I am very excited for this. I have it for the PSP already and am looking forward to playing the new tables on the 360 (Gophers, Medieval Madness, etc.) And, Xbox achievements, FTW!

Unlike playing on real machines, video pinball has never quite done it for me, but I'm likely to pick it up nonetheless. After all, it's looking like it's the only way I'll ever get to play Medieval Madness.

Of course it doesn't even come close to real pinball. It still is an awesome game for what it is. Future pinball and Visual pinball are really fun too. No they aren't as good as real pinball that's a given. But they also don't break and don't weigh 300lbs :p Oh and they're substantially cheaper too haha

I get annoyed when people say it doesn't feel like real pinball. Does driving a car in a video game feel like driving a real car? NO. But we still play them. It's a game :)

I bought this for the Wii (Costco 15.99) and it is fun but it lacks that pinball feel.

No video game can yet let you feel the speed of the ball in the palm of your hands. I have 2 of the machines in the video and the only annoying part is there are places that the ball goes in Funhouse and Black knight that you can't stretch your ey to see on screen.

It is fun and good don't get me wrong I just like the real deal.

If you are ever around STL, let me know. Our medieval is getting shopped out right now and will be returning back to our shop then off to some bar. I'll even throw some credits on it for ya. hah

yes, i will most certainly be buying this for 360. Can't fit a pin in my house and sure I play real pins at work all the time but this is still cool.

I plan on getting this game for the 360. I enjoyed The Gottlieb Collection on the Xbox, and this looks to be better yet.
These games'll have to do until I find a local and reasonably priced pinball machine.

You could throw a ball bearing into your PS3 controller and it'll roll around while you're playing, that might help. :p

Yeah, I'll still pick it up as well. Wish I'd read this before my lunch break, would've bought it then.

edit: Ahhh, tomorrow as in "tomorrow." Got it.

Given the way game releases go, "tomorrow" probably means "wednesday", as the street date is technically tuesday but most places don't get it in until the following day. I bought the one for Wii and loved it, I'm all over this for 360. Tried to preorder at gamestop last week but they weren't even showing it in their system, and I don't think best buy is going to be carrying it at all. I'll shop around on wednesday, hopefully i won't have to order it online. At least the new Katamari is coming out this week so I can minimize my pining if I have to order it online. And yeah, even the Wii version plays miles better than the Gottleib collection on xbox, it sounds like they've made some improvements in this one even beyond the wii version.

*e* Burt, I'll look for the PS3 version when I go get it for 360 and grab it if it's region free and you're not able to find it before then. You sure it was actually in stores last week? The release date was 2 weeks ago, then last week, then finally this week, there may have been some last minute confusion on when it was coming out. *e2* Actually, considering that and in case the release date got flubbed (kotaku had it on "games this week" two weeks ago), post back in this thread if you can't find it by the end of the week and I'll grab it down here for you then.

Great... now I can enjoy PinBots cruel multiball at home too!

"Multiball, nice... and it shot one straight down the middle... Oh, got multiball again... ... annnnnnndddd... down the middle again..." :)

I had to order it through Gamestop.com because the store didn't have it in the system, same with Press Your Luck 2010. What the heck, saves me from making two trips to the store. I got mail this morning saying Pinball is already in the mail.
