Williams Lower Coin Door Sticker Repro

My Bubbles has pretty much every sticker on it. Some are not in the best of shape, but the ones I haven't seen mentioned are:

I can try to scan any of them you want. I have a heat gun, and am usually able to get stickers off in one piece.

-"release control panel catches through coin door access" (this one was on the back of the coin box on the inside by the fuse sticker)
-"drop two bolts thru holes to secure monitor when slid back"
-"remove bolts and slide monitor back..."
-"Warning for safety..." on back bottom
-FCC sticker
-"View screen in mirror while adjusting monitor"
-Fuse placement sticker (probably game specific)

Sweet the ones I need scanned are for the power switch and the power cord. I see both in your pics. I have the adjust mirror one, but it's in my cabinet and I'd rather not remove it now. As to the large card behind the coin box, I think I have one of those. Let's start with the first 3 I mentioned first.

I tweaked the first sticker a little more to get the placement, tracking and kerning nearly perfect. On the first attempt, I treated each step as a block of text, but that was limiting. So I selected each line and made each it's own object so I could manipulate them separately:

I tried scanning it while it was still on the cabinet and it wouldn't work since it's not flat enough. I did get a pretty good picture of the sticker you want. I used the document setting on my camera which is made for taking close up pictures of text.

I put the full size 8mp pic on megaupload.

Let me know if you can use it or not. If not, I will try to remove and scan.

That should work, but I need an exact measurement of the sticker itself. Wonder why they changed fonts all over the place?

Yeah, if I do them myself they will be laminated laser printed stickers.
Minor threadjack: Tell me more about these laminated laser printed stickers, please! Those sound like they could be useful for all kinds of things. Where do you get them?

hey, i was lookin at some pics of yellowdogs maketrax and there is also a fuse ratings sticker on the back of the coin box box

and now i know where that caution sticker goes! (maybe)

I finally got to a laser printer to start running a few of the lower coin decals. Does anyone know how you keep crop marks when converting from an .ai file to a PDF? I have these files done in illustrator on my Mac, then email them as PDF's to my office PC where the laser printer resides. I can get it to print at the right size, but I lose the crop marks, which makes it tough to cut out the sticker outline at the right dimensions.

When you export/save as the pdf, check the "trim marks" box under "Marks and Bleeds."

Well that didn't work either. I checked the trim marks box and saved it as a pdf on my Mac with Adobe Acrobat 7.0 compatibility. Got to work, opened it on my PC, tried a print preview, which didn't show the crop marks, so I printed it on regular copy paper to make sure and nope, no crop marks. Anything I'm missing?

Email me the file and I'll see if I can fix it for you...

Give me what you have now and let me know the final cut size and I'll see if I can get it to work.

Well the PDF actually saves it at the right size, but when you go to print on a standard sheet, the dimensions are lost without the cropmarks. Get it? On it's way.
