I am picking one up Sunday and from what I see in the pics it is in great shape! It is in s guys basement. The lights work and flippers but the machine won't play. Any ideas? Is it worth $350?
Thanks
Bill

I have owned 2 Laserball pins. Bolth had issues, and I never paid more than $200 for either one. For a widebody, I expected more out of the gameplay, but it really doesn't have much to it. Condition on both of them: one was fully working, at least until I brought it home. Cosmetics were perfect. Second one, drop targets were malfunctioning, but also in nice shape.

Problems I have had with them: locking down bumpers, drop targets not working, flippers not working, sound, and more. To me, Laserball is a moneypit. Not one of my favorite system 6 machines. The thing has cool sounds, I'll admit to that. The backglass weighs a ton! Heaviest I have ever seen. It's an alright pin as long as it has no glitches, but for that price, I think you can do better........

Sorry to all Laserball owners for my slam on this machine, but it pissed me off more times than I care to remember.

My opinion, hold out for something better.

The game is in great condition from what I see from the pixs. A friend of mine fixs pins and vid games for a living and said get it I'll help you fix it. What I find is pins are hard to find in the $300 range that is not trash. All I see is 1200$ machines for sale and thats a bit much for my wallet.
Thanks for the feed back
Bill

He has had that for sale forever.

Maybe offer something low like $200 if the guy has had it for sale forever. If it's in good condition and pins are scarce in your area you should be able to get more than your money back if you decide you don't like it. Assuming you can repair it for a reasonable price. This is always the kicker with pinballs. Repairing them for a reasonable price.
