There is an interview here with two of the creators of the unreleased Judge Dredd arcade game from Midway/Williams (not to be confused with Akklaim's version). An interesting insight into what went into a game's development (and cancellation) in 1992. It was never finished and only four prototypes were made, of which three remain.

Coincidentally, one of them was sold here last week with a Midway Open Ice, listed as both for $500.

It is playable in MAME for anyone curious.

Star Worlds arcade in DeKalb, IL had one of these the last time I was there. Looks and plays pretty cool and I love the full cab sideart.

Happen to have a picture of the cabinet? I'd love to see one. Supposed to be the first full color side art cabinet.

I didn't take any pics of my own but here are some from their website.

Not sure if it's still there. I was there in late August 2011 and they usually change out games on a regular basis.

Hello! I'm the person who conducted that 'interview' (although it wasn't really an interview- Jake and Eric found the playthrough of the game on my site and sent me a tonne of emails with info on the game.) I'm glad to see everyone finds it interesting. Make sure to look at the location test report at the bottom of the page, fascinating stuff in there!

Schusler, thanks for those photos- I haven't seen the actual cabinet, and that artwork looks just as good as Jake and Eric said it was. Would you mind if I used those pictures on my website if I credit you and link back here? I'd just like to catalogue as much info on the game as possible in one place, and these photos would help immensely.

Not a problem....

When I was there last time I don't recall seeing it. But, if I do, I can take some more pics for you.
