I'm having what I think is a heat related issue. After the game is played for awhile both flippers stop working. Turn it off for a bit and they work again for a little while. Any ideas?
Basically all there is to the flipper circuit is power, switches and a relay circuit on the driver board to turn them on and off. Rarely seen the relay go bad, but it does happen.
When they go out, I'd check for voltage at the coils right away first.

Cool, thanks for the info. I haven't had much time to check it out but when I had the machine at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo last year it kept doing it and when I had a party on Saturday it did it as well. I just need to play it long enough to make it happen.
Could also potentially be an issue with the relay circuit on the driver board, but I like being systematic when I diagnose these things. Intermittent problems just plain suck to track down sometimes.
