What fun it is cleaning those playfield plastics underneath and the light bulbs. It seems this was never done on this machine. It is quite cruddy, I can't believe you could see any lights on the playfield?? But an hour later and its all nice and clean, new rubber kit and next playfield touch up. Should have her up and running this week.

Now I am hell bent on going through the other two machines to check the playfield light plastics underneath. FUNN
 
Oh, you have always got to clean those - makes all the difference in the world. I don't care how clean it is up top, if you have black flipper soot in your inserts, or those dark circles, it just looks like crap and really detracts from the game.

Clean the bulbs as well while you're at it.
