A friend of mine loaned me a F-14 Tomcat pin that he took in trade. It's complete and has a full mylar on it, but it's seen some moisture and has some bad acid damage on the CPU board.

It's a project. It comes with rusty legs and the manual.

Located in Cumming, GA and can be picked up there or in Woodstock, GA.

PM me here and we can set something up. I have pictures available as well.

If he parts out keep me in mind. How bad is the water damage on pf? Im looking to replace my player three 7 digit display or whole unit

We're not parting it out. The playfield has a full mylar. It's not as much water damage as it is it's been in a garage or something for a long time.

It is what it is.

Thats true, but you also have to consider 650 miles at 14 mpg at an average of $3.60 adds about an additional $170 to the price. I love the occasional mad trip better than most, but I try to do them when the fuel prices are more, shall we say, reasonable:D

Agreed brother! It's still available, the price is firm. When we advertised it on the local Pinball list (GAPAS.NET) we had it at $450.00. If no deal is pending by the weekend, I'll be taking it back to it's owner. The benefit of coming to my house is you get to play some cool games you've likely never seen before. Everyone have a great holiday weekend!

Get me some pictures, stat. Playfield damage etc. For that price I will buy it and buy a repro CPU to use in it. I've passed on several of these in Dallas because I didn't want to spend the money at the time. This way I can get it, and then work on it with some disposable income instead of dropping 1200$ all at once.

I'm going to be in Atlanta this time next month. I'd pay for it up front. Specifically will be in Conyers area but don't mind driving a bit if this is a good deal for everyone. :)

I restored an F-14 years ago and eventually sold it. I'd like to restore another one day to keep..awesome game. Lots of parts and lots going on, but I don't think you can go wrong with a full mylar pf project!

Would've loved to tried to get this, but did the math and between replacement MPU and renting a trailer and extra gas when I come back from Atlanta, I expect I could find one locally working. :(

NLA from me...

I'm returning the machine to it's owner in Woodstock, GA tomorrow (2/21/12). If anyone is still interested, I can put you in touch with him. Thanks guys!

I am amazed nobody grabbed this :(

Seemed like a great deal at the price. I was going to line it up, but my local contact in that area is out of the country.

Thanks for offering a good project at a good price Al!
