1976 Williams EM, looking for two of the metal coin entry plates that hold the plastic onto the coin door to accept a nickel.
Marco shows them as part # 1A-4215-N, but they are out of stock.
I have the plastic insert "one play, two nickels" & nickel coin acceptors already, just need the metal plates.

Anyone?

PBR had some, not too long ago. If they're out then you're probably stuck with filing out a dime slot.

If you're converting a door that wasn't set up for nickels there are more parts required. The coin trip assembly below the mech is made with different pieces than the dime and quarter slots.

OK, will check with Steve on the plates & coin trips.
I have a parts manual on the way, hopefully it shows all of the options & has exploded views.
This is my first EM, my goodness, how did they ever keep these things operating in a field environment with all of the abuse they took?

The best parts book view is the original catalog supplement for the 'new' 3-slot door(attached). The '70s parts books didn't show this old stuff as well.

There's a good scan of the instruction sheet here: http://www.ipdb.org/files/1245/Hot_Line_Schematic.pdf

Personally, I would set an Aztec for the "last of the EMs" pricing scheme, i.e. 1 play/.25 3plays/2X.25 and use an older game to piggybank the nickels and dimes.

They would play great for a while, then sit for a few days with an 'out of order' sign, and then some guy would come out and fuss with it. The cycle would repeat.

Hmm, the door that I came up with has a yet different coin trip switch, see attached photo. What vintage machine is this off of?
I think you are correct, I will stick with the last-o-the EM pricing scheme..

..

Looks like mid-'70s EM. Older games didn't use that make/break coin switch, newer games (SS) had plastic wire and a diode.

So, I guess that I am asking if this looks like it is set up for quarters (if you can tell) & if it will just plug into (& work) in my Aztec without any rewiring.
I don't have the Aztec here to look at.... it's still stashed @ my (unmarried) buddie's house waiting for the right moment to "suprise" the wife with my latest addition.
The scans that you attached don't show the same leaf switch.

OK, with a bit of searching, I came up with this, which makes sense:

The three wires to the coin switches were to temporarily remove power to the
score motor so if a coin switch got stuck, it wouldn't run the credit unit
up to its max. Coin switch goes down, removes power from score motor,
energizes 2nd or 3rd coin chute relay, goes back up, and lets score motor
run its cycle. The jumper plugs set how many of the motor switches send
pulses to the credit unit during the motor cycle.

see if this makes sense....

I can't see the plug but it looks like the setup that is in Star Pool. The door that's on Star Pool now came off Darling. The old door from Star Pool went on Charlie's spare Aztec. The plug has 8 wires and, yeah it looks like your door would take quarter mechs.

Yeah, it has an 8-pin jones plug & the chute(s) appear to be for quarters.
Cool.
Thanks guys for all of your assistance.
