I picked up a nice Williams's Defender a few months back. It had a couple power issues that I got sorted out. Such a fun game.
The game works great other than it won't remember settings (I plan to do the lithium battery mod) I pulled the board and there was some battery acid damage on the ROM at 7R and the resistor next to it.
I cleaned them both up with some vinegar, baking soda, and rinsed with some isopropyl alcohol.
I can still see some corrosion, but the alkaline should be neutralized.
Where the game is working should I attempt to replace the ROM and resistor? I'm a little apprehensive because the game is functional.
