The game is in super shape, with a burn free monitor. Everything works but the controls are flaky, they need to be fixed. There were only around 500 of these made and is highly collectible and considered one of the hardest games to find. This is the sequel to Robotron!

Never heard of it. What's "Williams"? Probably worth about $100 for the cabinet.

It'd make a neat MAME setup. My 15" beige monitor with a black construction paper shroud would fit right in there...I could probably get that nasty artwork off the control panel with a scraper...

Friggin awesome Exidy - but trying using Windex instead of soap and water to clean the glass lol.

And BTW - you forgot to use the word ......... RARE!!!!!!! ;)

I figured that omission was on purpose, `cause the thing actually IS "rare".

"Rare" is officially a ruined word. In an eBay world, air molecules and crooked politicians are rare. :D

...

Heh... yeah..
I figured anyone interested in it would know its rare already.
Ive been torn between fixing the controls and just selling it.. so lets see how it goes.

windex??? whaddat?

I can't decide if I hate you more because you have a Duramold Blaster or because you have that sweeeet Crazy Climber in the background.

Hehe ... good luck with your sale, Jon.

I've always wondered: do those translucent buttons light up from underneath?

This is the sequel to Robotron!

Is this true? I saw Blaster at CAX, but would have never put the 2 together? They seem way too different? That's cool if its true though, I just had never heard it.

If you play the game it actually says the year is 2085 - the Robotrons have taken over yadda yadda yadda <-- not in those exact words heh
Anyway since I bought the Jrok board this game has cbecome one of my favorites. Anyway sorry to clutter the thread eXidy - free BUMP!

The words: "The year is 2085 and the Robotrons have destroyed the human race" appearing on the opening screen may lead many to believe this is the sequel to Robotron: 2084. This may very well have been intended by the designer, but the radically different gameplay leads many others to disagree.

Pictures of the inside and the game working.
The sound, picture board work great. I think its the widget board thats bad, not the controls.
By the way, this game came out of the West Virginia warehouse and was not a reconversion.
Jason C purchased it in 2001 and I purchased it from him in 2004.
