Williams Bad Cats: Save or Part Out?

i'd try and save it

if its just too far gone i'd store it
who knows, a nice one with a bad playfield might pop up that needs a driver board...

then you'd have a score !

take the battery off the CPU and stick it in the storage unit and start looking
it is a system 11B. those boards are worth something and its a fun game

Trying to decide if I should save a rough Bad Cats.

The good:
NOS backglass
Everything is there
Minimal playfield wear
MPU boots

The bad:
Broken right ramp
Cabinet is rough
Display is dead
Minor corrosion on the MPU
GI connectors are burnt (like all of them)
Playfield isn't getting any power or switch input

Comments? suggestions? Offers on the whole thing?

:)

Would need pics to assess.

I think the real deciding factor is how much money you have wrapped up into it.
Parting out a machine "typically" brings more money than selling as a whole.
If it were me and I liked the game then I'd just buy a new cabinet for it. Yes there would be no side art but you don't play the cabinet anyway. You could actually make your own stencils as the artwork color scheme is simple enough. All the pointy cat hair edges would kind of suck though.

OR you could simply fix and clean it up to the best of your ability and play the heck out of it and be happy.

Either way - my vote is also NO to parting it out.

I would have sided with working on it. Cab is rough but looks like it could be pretty again with a weekend of masking/sanding/painting.

LOL on asking everyone's opinion, then doing the exact opposite suggested.

I'm not familiar with the game, but it didn't look too bad. Probably worth fixing up a bit.
