Anyone have a schematic for a Williams pcb 5773-09679-00? I am having trouble diagnosing. Not powering up the game board. Led 1 is not on, two and three are.

This should be posted in the repair section.

You are talking about a standard williams linear power supply, and you have no +5vdc.

1. Test your fuses
2. Test BR1

Con-fuse-ion

Sorry for the mispost, new to video game repair and this forum. I don't g et it, I measure 10v across resistor f5, and nothing across the rest but the resistors seem ok and register continuity across them. Also, where is br1?

Fuse testing is done with no power applied using either the ohms setting on your meter or the continuity setting.

BR1 is the big square bridge rectifier, and it is tested using the diode function on your meter.

F5 failure

F5 is dead. I'll find a new one and see if that helps.

Heh, yes... if you have 10V _across_ a fuse, the fuse is bad ;) .

Look in the Joust, Robotron, Sinistar or Bubbles drawing sets. They can be found in the Williams section at arcarc.xmission.com.

If you are blowing F5, you probably need to rebuild the power supply board. There are several of us (myself and Dockert to name two) that will do it for you for a nominal fee.

Othewise, you can get PS rebuild kits from Bob Roberts and do it yourself.
