Williams 4116 to 4164 mod

I might have the link on my pc at home. If not, I know I have a printout on my bench that I could scan and send to you.

I am about to order ram for my Robotron and I figure I'll change out all of them.(I assume the ones in the pic are 4116, correct?).

So if I follow the instruction in at that link, I won't need the 4164 Ram Adaptors I got from Bob Roberts?

Also, upon looking I have about 7 or 8 chips on my Joust board that have "4116" in the numbers stamped on the chips, and only four of them on my Robotron board. Most of the other chips have a different number on them. (Like AM9016DPC). Do I just replace every chip with 4164 chips?

Thanks.

.

AM9016 are 4116, just a different mfg's number.

If you need 4164 I have them. I also sell them in a kit with the adapter.

I would buy the kit if I didn't have to create an account on your website.

Not sure why you wouldnt want to create an account but if you want something off the site just send me a PM. Priority shipping is $5.20. I can even ship in a bubble mailer for about 2 bucks on most small items.

If you do the mod, please make a note of it in permanent ink so some poor repair person doesn't pull what's left of his hair out trying to figure out what is going on with that board.
