Selfish thread warning!!!

Just keeping the list of settings that work for me here. Figured it might help some people doing searches on Google and here on the forums out with their programmers.

I need to start keeping records of everything as I tend to forget what works in the time between my burning a certain chip, and the next time I burn that chip... Goldfish memory hard at work.

So, here we go. I'll keep adding to this thread as I burn and verify more types of chips. Luckily, the first one is one that most people have trouble with.

2532 :
Using the 2732->2532 adapter.
VPP: 21V
VCC: 6.2V
Set jumpers and burn as a 2732 with the adapter.
Will program and verify at 5V and 5.6V VCC, but will not have the right code on the chip.

I've got to do some more chips soon, some 27C64s, and 2732s... I'll add those to the list when I'm sure the information I -think- I remember is right. I'll also add pictures of my Willem version and my adapter.

If anyone has a problem with me doing this, please feel free to the delete the thread, and accept my apologies.

What type of willem programmer do you have? I have one (usb)and its a piece of crap, At least for programing old 25 & 27 chips, I even ran a power line direct to my computer power supply to get more juice to the programmer, still cant do 25 or 27s

I got the Willem and agreed mine was crap too till I fix the bugs for those chips in it. It can do the chips, the parms are wrong and doesn't regulate the juice right. Now, I don't even need external power :)
