Will Smash TV and Total Carnage play in the same cabinet?

Could I just switch ROMs to play one or the other? Are the wiring harnesses interchangeable, where I could mount a TC board in my STV and switch the harness to play the other?

I run Smash TV and Total Carnage in one of my Jamma cabs (with C&D).
The boards are all unique. No swapping ROMs - individual boards (on metal plates).
Definitely worth it to have a cabinet running these particular two-stick (dual-player) games. (y)
One day I should add Robotron and Lost Tomb.

it looks like you're using Smash TV, but for anyone else reading make sure the JAMMA harness is wired for -5V. my Total Carnage was a prototype that lacked said wiring. I had to add JAMMA pins for it. I never used a 2-in-1 switcher even though I bought one at a swap meet for that purpose. I switched it to Smash TV back in 2014 and just never ran Total Carnage again until I sold it to the place I work for now.

IIRC @RiddledTV 's switcher includes -5v for Smash TV, so you should be set using that. The cheaper Chinese switchers don't and you need to mod those to tap into -5v. I recall at the time plugging each PCB into my JAMMA cab and Smash TV would run fine, but when I used the cheap switcher, I had audio issues. After the mod it worked fine.
