Actually as I remember it
1. peter was involved with the film. Mainly CG content but possibly more I'm not sure.
2. there was a screener copy that was out there making the rounds behind the scenes in DVD format. Wasn't that well known to most but it was out there.
3. after years of hype a deal was finally made with showtime and Peter announced the date the movie would air. Possibly in a thread he started. Possibly in a thread someone else started asking about the film. Can't remember.
4. within the thread many were asking for a copy of the film.
5. Peter asked that people watch the movie on Showtime and I believe pointed out that once it aired on Showtime there would be no way to stop folks from recording and posting a torrent of the film.
6. The day before the Showtime release date a member here uploaded a torrent of the screener and posted a link to this site.
7. Peter saw the posting and requested that it be taken down
8. No one listened and some individuals flaunted the fact
9. Goodbye Peter and no more gamedays
10. it should be mentioned that the last game day held at Luna City that I am aware of was scheduled and happen but at the same time a family friend passed away. This may also have had some effect on why Peter has chosen to not continue hosting events.
11. another point worth mentioning is that shortly after the last game day I mention, the Luna City web site was taken down for a period of time. A couple months I believe.
