Will any G-07 chassis work with a 13in monitor?

I have a time pilot cocktail and the red color is almost gone, I was wondering if I can just put a different go7 chassis in there and all will be good? The chassis looks the same so I'm assuming it would be fine but want to ask first! Picture of monitor now -

I don't think so. I always thought that there was a special 13 inch version of the G07 (FBO). At the very least, I doubt the 2 chassis are compatible as is.

Have you tried capping the one you've got in there?
Yeah I sent it out to my repair guy but he can't unless he has the whole monitor, I haven't brought it to him yet because he's like an 1hr and 30 mins away atleast. I should try and find someone on here though.

if the "red is almost gone" that's a tube issue. I don't know what compels people to believe caps will fix electron gun emissions, but right on.

fixing the G07 FBO you have or magically transplanting a CBO in will not fix your problem.

Connecting a G07-CBO chassis to a tube for a G07-FBO makes fun blue lightning in the tube!!! 🤩 …ask me how I know……

Frustratingly, the G07-FBO I believe uses a 370JMB22* tube which has a CR-31 connection.

I haven't opened a lot of 13" TVs but I've yet to find a compatible tube in any of the ones I've opened.

If the red gun is shot you may have to swap the whole monitor unless you get lucky on a tube.

*this is going off the failing memory of an idiot, verify your tube information for yourself

Seems like you should try a rejuvenator to see if you have a tube issue. You could also swap the color wires to confirm the problem is the tube or the chassis.
