I'm far too lazy to do any real measuring. I have a 2008 Ford Escape SUV. Will an Elevator Action fit in it?

I'm betting it will. You probably won't be able to close the rear door though.

I once crammed a SW upright in 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now that was a tight fit. LOL

A Taito cabinet fit just fine in the back of my wife's Hyundai Santa Fe although I did take the seat pads out so the seat backs could fold all the way down.

Remove the rear seats completely, don't just fold them over (while you have them folded over, there should be a tab underneath that you pull up on and just slide them out). You'll get another 4-6 inches that way.

I fit a Blasteroids in my '01 and closed the door all the way. Have the front of the cab face the passenger side of the vehicle, and move the passenger seat as far up as possible. This way the highest point of the cab has more clearance.

It will fit 100% with the door closed. I have hauled a Defender knockoff, and a Super Pac, both with the hatch closed. With the Super Pac, my wife was even still able to sit in the passenger seat...uncomfortable as it may have been.

You may have to work it up onto the center console though, so bring something to protect it so your wife don't kill you. I might be speaking from experience. ;)

Yep, I've fit tons of stuff into an old 01 I used to own. Take the seat out completely instead of folding it or you will lose about a foot of space. Worst case scenario is the door closes but you need to pop the back window.
