Need to know if I need to take a trailer or if a Spy Hunter pinball will fit in the back of my Jeep Cherokee??
Thanks

Which pinball? If you lay the seats down, remove the legs, and fold down the head (for newer pins) or remove the head (for older pins), then it should fit just fine.

Depending on your interior height, sometimes you'll find that the newer pins won't fit with the head laying down on the body. You could try turning it on it's side, but that might put too much strain on the head hinge. Another option is to label all of the connectors from the body to the head, disconnect them, and remove the head entirely. That's a lot of work, but can be done if necessary...

i moved a refrigerator in the back of a jeep Cherokee. i have moved 3 pins in a mini van.so yes,you should be able to fit a pin in it.

The one thing that worries me is the length, with the seats down it looks like I have about 5 feet.
It is a 3 hour trip one way

Was the fridge sticking out the back???

The head on spy hunter folds down onto the body.

The head is also detachable by laying it flat on the cabinet and then rotating it off the cabinet. If I remember right the locking pin is on the left hand side. You also have to detach a few more wires...

It should fit no problem into a jeep cherokee

Had a guy come pick up an UMK3 in a big Midway cabinet with a 25" monitor in a Dodge Caravan the other day. I would have lost money betting that it wouldn't fit. That thing slid right in and we were able to close the back door.

The seller e-mailed me that from where you stand to the back is 72 inches
If this is correct then it will not fit. That is 1 foot longer than the space I have.

I can tell you this...A Black Knight 2000 DOES NOT fit into a 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

My 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee is tight too. I did move a Simpsons Pinball Party in mine, but stuck out about 1/3 of the way and I needed to tie the back hatch down. It wasn't the best thing to do and I don't recommend it. I have moved a system 9 machine by taking off the back box. That fit fine.

So did you ever get the pinball or not?

I have not been able to get the time to make the 3 hour drive.
The price is normal and not a great deal, I found one closer for sale cheaper but haven't had the time to get there either(I was in that area on wed but contact with the seller is hit or miss)
I would buy either one if I could make some time:(

Since this thread got resurected....I'm pretty sure that 72 inch measurement would be from the floor to the top of the head (i.e. standing at the back of the machine).

Standard playfield glass is 43" long...add another 6-8" to the front and same to the back and you should be in the 5' range instead of 6'.

I moved a pin last weekend in my wife's Chevy Equinox (one of those "crossover" vehicles) without any problem. Of course I had to take the head off and flip the back seats down, but it was a piece of cake.

I move pins in my '99 Jeep Cherokee with no problems. Just fold down the back seat and your good to go. I also move vids with this vehicle but they hang out the back a bit. I just strap the hatch down and it's good to go. Been moving games with this vehicle for over a decade now.
