I need a Monitor for a Rush 2049 and looking at the D9800 will this work in the Rush 2049.
All the help I would get would be great. Thanks in advance Bruce

The D9800 is supposedly a drop-in replacement for the D9400, which can be used as a drop-in replacement for the D9200 that Rush 2049 originally shipped with. You should be good to go.

the D9800 should be a drop in replacement for like... anything (being it's a tri-sync). so long as it takes a 27" monitor. :) I think the only difference is in the tubes, doesn't the D9800 only come in flat-CRT form? I think on the 9200s and 9400s you had a choice between round-CRT and flat-CRT. not sure what this does for like bezels and the like.

I have been putting D9800's in alot of different cabinets and haven't had any problems yet.

The only thing I run into is having to build a harness if the game didn't previously have a Wells in it.

It's amazing when I call our distributors asking for the 10 pin harness and they can't find a part # for it so I end up making one from spare parts laying around.

So you should be fine if it had a Wells which it originally had but if it was swapped with something along the line then you have a little work possibly.
