Will -5v On a Konami Adapter Fry Boards That Don't Use It?

Hey Guys,

I built a Konami to Jamma adapter for Rush n Attack and Super Basketball to play on a JAMMA rig.

I'm also wanting to test a Frogger out on it but noticed it requires -5v where the other two don't.

If I install a connection for -5v to the adapter for Frogger, will it do any damage to Rush n Attack or Super Basketball?

Check the pin where you have -5V on the harness on the other 2 boards and see if the traces lead anywhere off the edge connector. If they all use the same pinout, they might not.

No....on games that do not need -5VDC....it terminates at the edge connector and goes no where.
