Wife needs your help... Top 20 classics & top 20 modern arcade games...

Apparently Sue has some strange assignment for her class. They are building a business model and of course she chose to build a fun center along with everyone else in her class. She has asked me to pick the top 20 classic games and the top 20 modern games that she should feature in this multi-level dream empire.

I though this might be a good opportunity to pick your brains. Even if you can't think of 20, give me some of your picks.

Are there even 20 modern games out there right now (I take modern to mean ones you can buy brand new).

I am glad I am not working that project. It would be like trying to come up with a business model for a chain of bookstores or a store that sold PC games.

I'd probably break it down further and have 10 modern pins + 10 modern games (mostly redemptions) and 10 classic pins + 10 classic video games.

10 modern pins (after 1990):
- Transformers (Stern)
- Wizard of Oz (Jersey Jack)
- AC/DC (Stern)
- Lord of the Rings (Stern)
- Tron (Stern)
- Medieval Madness (Williams)
- Tales of the Arabian Nights
- Ripleys Believe It or Not
- Twilight Zone
- Theatre of Magic

10 Modern Games (after 2000): ????
- House of the Dead
- HydroThunder
- Crane
- Lighthouse

10 Classic Pins (before 1995):
- Johnny Mnemonic (Williams?)
- Blackout (Williams)
- 8 Ball Deluxe (Bally)
- Dr Who (Bally)
- Mata Hari (Bally)
- High Speed II (Williams)
- Slugfest (Williams)
- Bram Stokers Dracula (Williams)
- Fish Tales (Williams)
- Elvira and the Party Monsters (Williams)

10 Classic Games:
- Robotron (Williams)
- The Simpsons
- Street Fighter II Championship Edition
- Centipede
- Q*Bert
- Sinistar
- Tapper
- Tempest
- StarWars
- Pole Position

Some of these (especially the pins) might be out of their time slot because I am going by when I remember seeing them.

Goog luck to your daughter on her assignment.

Also, if it is going to be multi-level, I'd add a spiral slide or a firepole to get beween levels.
