PROBLEM:
Wierd problem with my JPac and PSX/PSX2.
Contacting the maker, they said it is a grounding issue.
Player 2 controls cuts out, and its not a wiring or grounding issue.

FACTS:
I am trying to figure it out, but its been a while. Here are all the facts:
-PSX2 is modded with modchip
-The jamma power wires are cut (it can be uncut if desired), because it is not needed as the PSX2 controller is powering it.
-it happens randomly, and player2 just cutsout, not a wirign or ground issue. Checked by volt meter.
-If i unplug PSX2 cable wire to the JPac, it will reset someting, and everything is good for a while, until it happens again.
-Then I figured what happens if I swap PLayer1 and player2, it will start happening player1 side will cutout randomly(and now player 2 side plays fine). Thus it is not a wiring issue, also checked by volt meter.

HELP ME:
Could this be a faulty JPac?, green gound wire needed somewhere?, something??
Hoping someone have had this issue.

If the Player 1 controls work fine when plugged into the Player 1 side and the Player 1 controls work fine when plugged into the Player 2 side, you can safely assume the Player 1 controls are not the problem.

If the Player 2 controls don't work when plugged into the Player 2 side and the Player 2 controls don't work when plugged into the Player 1 side, a little Sherlock Holmes deduction reveals the the problem is the Player 2 controls.

If the problem was anything to do with your JPac then the issue would remain on the Player 2 side.

Your issue exists somewhere from the Player 2 connection cable through to the actual Player 2 controls.

Start by cleaning all the contacts (Player 2 controls plug first) and then double check the ground wiring.

No I did not state that...
The problem is switched to player1 side if I switch them. Any other thoughs on it?

Ummmm.... That is exactly what I said....

The Player 2 controls are what is malfunctioning. If you plug them into the Player 2 side, then Player 2 works intermittently. If you plug them into the Player 1 side, then Player 1 works intermittently.

If the problem stayed on the Player 2 side when the controls were switched then it would be a problem with your Jpac.

Im prob just getting confused on terms.
The problem does follow "palyer2" and when switched it happens to player1 side (Left side with palyer2 inputs). I am thinking JPAC too. How do I figure whats wrong with the Jpac? Anybody have the same issue.

Ultamrac did not offer any help other then a grounding issue. I have read others having the same issue, but not a solution yet.
