Has anyone ever seen a wienerschnitzel token? From what I understand the weinerschnitzel or der weinerschnitzel hot dog chain is only from Texas to the west. I believe the biggest group of locations are in California. Anyhow I have been to weinerschnitzel many times over the years and even in the 80's I don't recall any of the locations ever having arcade games. Yet today I pulled a weinerschnitzel token out of an arcade game. So does anyone recall a weinerschnitzel location that had games or ever their own tokens?

I have no idea about the arcade, but I had it for the first time this summer in AZ. loved it. I also enjoy In n Out burger!

Yep. I played Time Pilot at Weinersnitzel in the early 90's.

Btw....Weinersnitzel chili is da bomb! Chili fries are the fucking SHiZ.

Do you recall if they had their own tokens?

Yes, I believe I had my girlfriend at the time get me a dollars worth of tokens, it was one of my first dates with that particular girl, so I remember it clearly.

bathroom tokens??? I remember when i was a kid (1985ish) there was a jack in box that had 2 games

What does the token look like? I may have one in my collection but would need to jog my memory of what it looks like.

BTW there is one location in IL. I go to the one in Grand Prairie as much as I can. I love their Chilli Cheese Hot Dogs on a Pretzel Bun. mmmmmmmm....

You are correct sir......that 1 location just happens to be in my home town, Champaign, Illinois.......about a mile from where i grew up. Chili cheese dog heaven......:p

no arcades ever at this location though.......

I already love the Der.

But, if it's true that they used to have arcade games, I'm building a time machine.

I never saw any games at the ones I went to as a kid. Of course they just had a drive-thru and walk-up - no inside dining. :)

I've never seen a video game at a Der Weinerdog.... I grew up going to the red and mustard roofed outdoor table locations...

Their chili is the BOMB... but it also gives me the shits something FIERCE...

One side just has the word Wienerschnitzel in in the oval "pill shape" graphic they use as part of their logo. The name is actually pretty small on the token. The other side is just a generic no cash value or something like that. Still cool nonetheless IMO.
