Width coil

rough translation of every other post in this thread: these monitor chassis were effectively made as a scotch tape and bubblegum fix to make a monitor work again.

so don't be surprised if you don't have all the flexibility of adjustments and features of a civilized monitor. these were mostly intended for lazy people to just replace instead of fix.

you'll have to figure out which poly cap is for width and change the value higher than what's installed to get the picture tighter. there could potentially be some slight yoke incompatibility swaying the width too. I don't deal with those.

Turn that board over. I think you are looking for HORIZONTAL SIZE.

Trace from the 3 leads on that pot to the WIRES - note the color of the wires.

Trace where the wires go to the main PCB. Now follow those traces until you find a capacitor. That will likely be it.

How do I adjust this width coil? Not sure what to use nothing seems to fit or grab on
Try using needle-nose pliers or a small flat screwdriver to gently adjust the coil legs. Go slow to avoid bending it out of shape.
