Just wondered if anyone has had this done before?

I asked a local company to scan an arcade sideart for me (Battlezone)

They can scan a whole flat panel for approx $400.00

The resolution is 600dpi, and format will be tif

The question is . . Is this a good price / Rip off / bit high??

Cheers guys :)

it doesn't really matter what other people think (not to be mean). Do you think it is a rip off. Its like my dad would say to me when I collected baseball cards. I would come home from a card show and tell him I got some good deals on cards. He would always ask me how much they are worth. I told him book value was say 100 and I got it for 30. he always said no. and kept asking what it was worth. I always told him the book value. well after about 3 or 4 time of that I figured out what he was saying to me. It was worth what I paid for it. then in turn it might not be worth that to somebody else. So, you just need to decide is it really what you want, how hard is it to get. and is it really worth that to make my game look awesome. Oh, just remember if this is a hobby not a business. Then it really isn't about making money.

hope this helps on your venture to the artwork

Late to the poll, but yeah, that seems way too high to me...

I'm amazed they could scan something that big. I bet they were going to do what you're getting ready to do, and were just charging you for the labor...

wow moddest that is a sweet site.
Moddest do you know of anyone who has a scan or anything of a tempest cocktail top

No scans found. Perhaps someone on here has one and can scan it for you:
