R-type, later VS. cabs, Single monitor playchoice. Right overlay, wrong sticks. Venture to guess the right monitor is still in there as well.

A. Nintendo Vs. UniSystem converted to Capcom Knights of the Round (JAMMA side scroller).
B. Nintendo Vs. UniSystem
C. Nintendo Vs. UniSystem

Im a Nintendo NOOB!
What concerns me is that it has been JAMMAED?
Would it be possible to put a PC 10 in this cab?
My space is limited so Im trying to cram as much bang for the buck into any cab I get...
Id be fine with an R-type :)

Yes, it has been jammatized.

A single monitor pc-10 had a LED counter clock on it to show time remaining. That and the best pc-10 games will set you back a couple bucks but they are out there. A kit for R-type will run you a couple bucks as well, finding a nice, clean marquee and control panel, and board set is tricky, but the sideart is available now.

Thanks for the info guys!
Sounds like the ideal opportunity to get into the nintendo scene!
I cant really go wrong as the price is right...

You have the original Vs. control panel already. You would just need to get a Vs. wiring harness, PCB (with whatever Vs. chip set you choose to use), marquee, Nintendo 8-way joysticks, and new buttons. Then, you should be good to go.

Yup. The cheapest, fastest route to take right now, is to surf the plentiful Nintendo versus library out there and grab a single game to fill the void until you track down all the PC-10 carts and arts you'd need. Vs. Super Mario, Vs. Exitebike, and Vs. Hogan's alleys are pretty easy to get (the latter will run the most becuase of the gun). Vs. Castlevania and Vs. Gradius not so much.

EDIT: uh yeah, what eseyo1 said. Damn my slow, chicken pecking fingers!

So the PC 10 and VS games will play off the same mobo?
Or do you have to switch out the board like in a JAMMA scenario?
My limited understanding of Nintendo is quite embarrassing LOL

Pretty sure the Vs. boards are totally interchangeable. Not totally sure if a Pc-10 PCB can plug onto the same harness though. I also believe that you can have the main VS. PCB and swap the Vs. Chips around. Eseyo is the Nintendo whiz here.

Well for $100 for both cabs in the pic DELIVERED to my doorstep I figure I cant go wrong!

Vs. games = arcade games
PC-10 system = NES games in an arcade cab.

Your choice, but since it's already a Dedicated Vs. cab, you should just keep it that way and go for the better games. If you want PC-10 games, just buy an old NES console.

No, you can't. If you haven't said yes already, you need a bit of your username yourself. :D

HA HA
Yeah I had the details worked out with the guy was just waiting for him to confirm payment before I posted anything here...
But yes VS. It will be, Thanks to everyone for all the info Johnsarcade.com had a ton of great info for a nintendo noob as myself!

I knew I bought this sign for a reason! I been carrying it around for like TEN years now!
