Yeah, $200 is too much. That book really won't teach you anything that you don't already know. At least it didn't for me. There is also a PDF version online if you look hard enough!

When I get those in I sell them for $75.00 with a Donkey Kong video of how I get past the upper levels.

Then when I get the Video Masters Guide to Donkey Kong (which is 100X better book) I sell them for $100 with the video.

Yeah, the last two auctions for that book where it was bidding starting at $0.99 ended between $30 and $35 each. It's the only book of DK I don't have. I should have bid on the two I saw when I got the chance. Now everytime one becomes available people want to trade me for gold bricks.

well i don't want that much gold... just a dual monitor pc10 board and cab wiring harness.. ;)

I would be VERY interested in such a topic. As it stands, if you want to search on the net for a part, you either have to post on RGVAC and hope your post doesn't get buried under 100 others or you have to poke around on eBay. There needs to be more places to post wanted requests. Please include it.

Wait em out. Keep a search going on ebay and keep looking at half.com and amazon. I had the same issue trying to get hold of a pinball book - if you are patient, eventually someone who actually wants to sell will pop up and you can get it for a fair price. But it could take a while...

Wicked link, thanks. Been looking for a PDF of Sanders' book for some time now and there it is!

IMO, Sanders' book is the rare and valuable one. He's dork-famous, it was sparingly published, and it's become pretty obvious in the last few years that it's the one seen least often.

i think i am going to see what half price books would offer me for it.

From my experiences with HPB, they'll offer you two shiny quarters - if you're lucky.

LOL - I just found one of those in a box of my old books a couple weekends ago at my folks house. I gave it to my 6 year old because he is into the games.:p
Had no idea I could get $200 for it.

You can't get $200 for it. You can put it on Amazon for $200 and let it sit there unsold forever.

I had one of those How To Win At Donkey Kong books... it was tossed in as a "freebie" with a bunch of Atari 2600 carts I purchased from a buddy in college about 20 years ago.

I sold the book about 3-4 years ago on Ebay, got about $55.00 for it.

Kyle

I know I can't...was more of a joke, wouldn't sell it anyway.:p
Just surprised that I saw the same book I pulled out of a box after 20+ years in storage in a post the other day.

I have that DK book, I think and it might be missing a page. I actually still have most of those from the link from when I was a kid.

I think I was trying to sell some of them a few years back with no luck.
